It is my great honor and privilege to serve as the President of the Bangladesh Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (BSVIR) at this pivotal time when our specialty is transforming patient care across Bangladesh.

Vascular and Interventional Radiology represents one of the most rapidly evolving fields in modern medicine — offering minimally invasive, image-guided solutions that were unimaginable just decades ago. Through BSVIR, we are committed to ensuring that these life-saving treatments reach every corner of our nation.

Our society stands firmly committed to:

• Advancing clinical excellence through continuous medical education (CME) and professional development
• Fostering research collaborations that push the boundaries of interventional radiology in Bangladesh
• Building a strong, inclusive community of specialists dedicated to minimally invasive treatments

Since our founding in 2011, BSVIR has grown into a trusted scientific society with hundreds of dedicated members who share a common mission — to serve patients with compassion, integrity, and the highest standards of medical science.

Together with our members, partners, and supporters, we will continue to raise standards, share knowledge, and expand access to quality interventional radiology services nationwide.
